As part of the International Cork Folk Festival 2011 Goldiefish events is hosting a series of free children’s carnival workshops every Saturday in September at the Cork City Central Library, Grand Parade, Cork for the 2nd annual Folk Festival Carnival Parade
Goldiefish events have teamed up with the Cork Folk Festival to bring you a month of carnival workshops in the lead up to our 2nd annual festival parade. We’re looking for children of all ages to come along and make their own instruments, masks and hats every Saturday in September at the Cork City Central Library on Grand Parade. So why not drop in make something, get involved and participate in our parade which will be held on Sunday 2nd October.
If you want to take part in the parade, just walk along or clap participants just turn up outside Brown Thomas on Patrick Street at 1.30pm on Sunday 2nd October. We’ll be kicking off at 2pm and heading down Oliver Plunkett Street to the Ceile Mor on Grand Parade, Cork
The workshops will are running from Saturday 17th September to Saturday 1st October and will run from 10am – 2pm. The workshops are suitable for all ages and are free of charge.
