Music And Comedy At The Roundy Week Ending Friday 5th April

This week Goldiefish has a number of gigs on starting tonight with improv comedy and ending the week with an album launch from an up and coming band from Dublin so if you’re in Cork this week check us out upstairs at The Roundy bar on Castle Street. It’s smack in the middle of town. So here’s the listings:

Tuesday 2nd April
Snatch Comedy Improv
Doors: 9pm
Tickets: €5
Snatch Comedy perform improvised sketch show that’s chaotic, over-the-top, strange, experimental, spontaneous and fun

Wednesday 3rd April
Jazz Fusion
Doors: 9pm
Tickets: €5
The night features Mr Sidebeat with Neil Murphy playing guitar and guest vocalist Clodagh Kearney. The band will be ably supported by Not Yet Quintet

Thursday 4th April
Idiot Songs + Christine Deady
Doors: 9pm
Tickets: €3
Idiot Songs is a collaboration between between critically acclaimed artists Justin Grounds and Pearse McGloughlin and supported by Clonakilty songstress Christine Deady

Friday 5th April
Biggles Flies Again Album Launch
Doors: 9pm
Tickets: €3
Biggles Flys Again’s debut album sounds like great pop album from a past era as front man Conor Deasy plays with everything from Casio and Yamaha keyboards to a Hammond organ and a BBC Neve recording console
